stoutfellowI'm still suffering (mildly) from that dratted cold, but, being a Dedicated Public Servant, I came to work anyway. My voice did survive the first lecture, but there's one more to go and I'm feeling pretty raspy. We shall see.
I did make some headway on the paper; I'm about halfway through Part II. The last paragraph or two need reworking, but I'm about to get to the good stuff. Now, if I can only figure out how to import a diagram from Mathematica and get a legible result...
Addendum (9:36 CST): At the start of the second lecture, my students were very solicitous: "Oh, you look awful!" "You should go home!" "I'll give you a ride!" Slackers...

Date: 2004-12-01 12:25 pm (UTC)Hey, students everywhere are like that... even me, with my mature years (snort!) will do anything to get out of some classes. OTOH, there are others that I really miss if the prof. has to cancel for illness or conference or somesuch.
