Hrm! P'raps it was for the best that so many kids came yesterday; it's raining tonight, and now that I think of it it's supposed to keep on raining for the next couple of days. I'll keep the light on for a couple of hours, but I don't expect any business. Just as well; having so many people come to the door excites Ben and Murphy a bit too much. (They almost got out once, but I put my knee down on Murphy and pinned him, and Ben couldn't get past him.) Unfortunately, I went out and bought another bag of candy this afternoon, just to be sure, and I guess I'll wind up eating it all. (Butterfingers...) This is not going to help my attempts at losing weight. (I was down to 191.5 this morning, which is the lowest reading I've gotten since buying this scale about a year ago.)

Ah well. I'm just about done with Sprig Muslin - no real surprises, just the reliable Heyer wit - and I've also started in on Narcissus in Chains.

As far as I know, no downside except having to get a new email account and tell everybody.

They've supposedly got a spam blocker and they do have an easy spam reporting function. And I've only gotten one email that looked like spam after having it 2 or so months.

It works things a bit differently, no folders, but labels instead. You can filter things easily by the labels though.

Really the only downside is having to play with it to get used to it and get everything the way you want it. I've found it intuitive so far and haven't had any problems with it.
