Yesterday, rechecking my Amazon order, I noticed that I had somehow ordered two copies of _Dynamics of Dinosaurs_. Since DoD was the most expensive item I'd ordered, this was rather distressing.
I sent the supplier a request that they correct it to one copy. Today, I received three messages. In order: a message informing me that my order of two copies of DoD had shipped; one telling me that my order of one copy had been cancelled, and only one copy would be sent; and one saying that the appropriate amount of money had been refunded.
This messages are not quite consistent with each other. The shipment is projected to arrive in a couple of weeks (the supplier is British); we will see then which are correct.
