TFW... You write check #5190, which is the last check in its packet, and you search for more checks but the smallest number you can find is #5275.
Fortunately, my Finances db allows me to look up the numbers of all the checks I've written in the last three years, and I can see how thoroughly disordered I've been in this respect; I've gone through packets out of order, and #5275 is indeed the next one in line.
I've got to come up with a better system.
