The Political Graveyard

This is an interesting site: a database of graveyards where USAn politicians are buried. "Politician" is construed very broadly, to include, e.g., ambassadors. One tidbit: the graveyard in Sleepy Hollow, NY, not only holds the grave of Washington Irving (of course), but also that of Carl Schurz, one of my political heroes. Maybe a pilgrimage is in order.

Sounds like a plan. I'll want to hold onto the Kinzer until I have a chance to compose the second part of my review, but once that's done, sure. (It may be a while; I have quite a stack of grading to do as well.)

No rush atall. Since I overhauled the shelving system of the home library to add the Christmas-pressie new bookshelf, I was rather chagrined to find how much I've bought and not read yet (so then I systemized that, making mining for unread treasure much more efficient).

Trust me, it'll be quite a while before I am legitimately reduced to the bookaholic's most familiar plaint, "There's nothing in the house to reeeeeeeead!!!" Heh.
