I decided to give Stargate a try tonight. (Guesses as to why are invited; there is more than one correct answer.) I will say only that, around the halfway mark, Murphy was peering at me worriedly from around a corner. I'll be back for at least one more episode. Thanks, incidentally, to jeriendhal, whose fic gave me a fighting chance of understanding what was going on.

Meanwhile, I await BSG's season premiere.

Thank you, though it probably helped that they're doing a bit of a reset this year (new enemy, and a couple of major cast changes). Very enjoyable episode, and I can see why Michael Shanks (Daniel) is much happier with is character this season. Heh.

Thanks to you, I found that Teal'c was instantly recognizable, in person and in character, and I understood why they kept referring to Egyptian gods.

Of course I adore Claudia Black, and it looks like she was having a blast in her role. "Let's make babies!" with that cheesy grin... (Someone on the TWoP boards suggested that she was channeling Gigi Edgley, which I can sort of see.)
