stoutfellowI took Gracie in to the vet today. In addition to her regular check-up and shots, the problem with her right eye had flared up again. The temperature was mid-80s F going in, 90ish coming back.
What with one thing and another, they wound up shaving her, nose to tail. She looks like a large chihuahua, but seems much happier - bouncy, even. I'd guess it's equal parts being able to see out of both eyes and being rid of all that fur in this heat.
Buster's turn is next Monday. He, at least, doesn't have any side-problems - just lots of hair.
