stoutfellowGlenn Frey, one of the founding members of the Eagles, has died, aged 67.
I hear the Kool Kids point to the Eagles as one of the things that were wrong about the '70s. Screw 'em. "Desperado", "Take It Easy", "Tequila Sunrise", "Peaceful, Easy Feeling", "One of These Nights", and, yes, "Hotel California" are all on my Top 200 list - or would be, if I ever got around to putting one together.
If you want to tell me you like things I don't, that's fine; like as not, my failure to like them is a defect in me. But if you want to talk about how bad the stuff I like is, save your breath. [Verb. sap.]
