Aging

I am, for some reason, reading the archives of James Nicoll's LiveJournal. I just ran across a post in which he complained about the effects of aging on one's eyebrows. ("[E]yebrow hair suddenly thinks it is head hair and it begins to grow to an indefinite length.")

I have never noticed this effect; my eyebrows are much as they ever were - maybe a little darker.

James Nicoll is three years younger than I am (and reported this effect nearly a decade ago).

Am I failing at becoming old?

Well, I'm about your age, and my eyebrows seem to be getting thinner like the rest of the hair on my head [sigh]. But then I'm female, so maybe that's the difference?
