stoutfellowA while back, Koko Taylor got onto my "get music" list. I don't remember how or why; but I got her "What It Takes" album recently.
She's loud. Her voice is harsh and not particularly melodic. Her songs tend to be bombastic, even melodramatic.
I like her. Damfino why, but she's really grown on me since I first listened to the album.
