Moving Towards Closure

Well, it seems as though those Mathematica files are gone for good. ("You shouldn't have saved them in the Program Files directory!" "You could have told us this!"....) A lot of what was in them had served its purpose, but not all. I'll have to try to reconstruct them, or at least the parts that I still need.
The version of Geometer's Sketchpad I was using is no longer available, but the department has bought me a copy of v5.02, which I'll install the next time I'm on campus. I'll be able to use it in time for next Monday's geometry class.
The reason my remote access hasn't been restored is that I hadn't officially asked ITS to restore it. I hadn't officially asked ITS to restore it because people from ITS kept telling me "Yeah, we know what's wrong, we'll get it fixed..."
Needless to say, I'm a bit peeved at ITS at the moment. Still, most of the time they do a good-to-excellent job, so....
