The Excessive Heat Warning that was supposed to lapse last night is still in effect, and has been extended to 8PM tomorrow night. We're supposed to get some thunder Wednesday night; maybe that will break the spell. :pant pant:

Buster doesn't seem to mind. A couple of times in the last three days, I've glanced outside to see him apparently just basking in the sun. I guess thick light-colored fur serves as a decent insulator. Or else he's demented. (No. That's Gracie's job. Sometimes I think I should flip the voicing on the obstruents in her name.)

Oh, well. The A/C is working well, both home and at work - though getting from one to the other, and going between the office and the classroom, is chancy. Lots of liquids, liberally consumed....

My cats do this, too (and they're dark-colored!). I figure as long as they have a cool, shady place to go, if they choose instead to bake in the sun, then well, who am I to stop them?
