stoutfellowA few minutes ago, the phone rang. I reached it on about the third ring, and - as per usual - looked at the Caller ID screen to decide whether to pick up.
The screen read, "NOT IN USE".
Whoever/whatever it was hung up when the answering machine picked up.
Wasn't there a Ray Bradbury story something like that? :shivers:
