Well, I'm home in Edwardsville again - two days later than intended, but home. The dogs had eaten a few more chunks out of the couch (got to get a new one...) and pulled the bedclothes off the bed. There is almost no food in the house, apart from what remains of the pizza I ordered as soon as I got in. Both dogs have (at length) downshifted from ecstatic to clingy.

I'll talk about the holidays later. Right now, it's me for a long hot shower and bed.
