Pride Goeth Before Destruction...

stoutfellowIt's inattention that goeth before a fall.
On the way home from the bus stop this evening, I fell to musing on the Mamas & Papas album that's next up on the review queue. This distracted me just a bit too much; as I was stepping up onto a sidewalk, the tip of my right shoe failed to clear the curb. I was completely off-balance before I had a chance to react, and went down on hands and knees. No faceplant, fortunately, but I skinned the palms of both hands (considerable abrasion, but no bleeding) and bashed my right knee. I think there's a little swelling there. I also may have put some torque on my left biceps; it's giving me twinges, which I suspect will be more than that come morning.
I think I'll take a hot shower before going to bed. Maybe that'll help some.
