This evening, as I was fixing myself a late snack, I noticed the dogs' bowls were empty, so I scooped a cup of food into each. After a few minutes, both dogs were eating: Gracie from the left-hand bowl, Buster from the right. I maneuvered around to get a better look at what they were doing, and Gracie looked up at me, turning her head to her left. As she did so, Buster leaned over and snaffled a mouthful of food from her dish. By the time she looked back, he was back at his own dish.
