My Inner Minstrel has been on a Johnny Mathis kick the last couple of days - "When Sunny Gets Blue", "The Twelfth of Never", "Chances Are"... I don't know why; I don't have any of his albums, and haven't listened to anything of his in, literally, decades. I may have to buy an album to get I.M. to shut up...

Don't you wonder sometimes just *who* this person is? And what kind of a different life you'd lead if *he* were in control?

Mine is in charge of trying out possible word combinations for song lyrics or even attempting to complete the tune...it wakes me up for this. Mine is a dork.

Scott Raun's trivia post has, apparently, knocked IM off the Mathis bandwagon... in favor of Paint Your Wagon. I don't think this is an improvement.

Worse still--it could be "The Yellow Rose of Texas" tune sung with the words to "Amazing Grace", "Gilligan's Island", or other similar delights. [but then, I'm evil like that. ;)]
