NWS observers peg the accumulation of snow here at about 10". Snow is expected to continue falling lightly for much of today.
The university is closed today (although there's a possibility that evening classes will be held). This is going to cause me some logistical headaches. I'm giving a midterm in my linear algebra class tomorrow evening. That would not be a problem, except that one of my students has a dispensation and will be taking it at 11:30, in a different place, and I have to get a copy of the test over there in time for that. This would also not be a problem if I had already written and printed up the test, like any normal precrastinator.
Since I have access to my office computer from home, I can probably get the test printed on the office printer today, without even going in. I'll have to contact the department secretary and see if I can coordinate things with her, to get everything done in time.
Grmph.
