Disappointment

It seems that Algebraic Set Theory is not a good choice for a bus book. My category theory is very rusty; I can't just read the book - I will have to study it, pen in hand. I think I'll put that off until the holidays, or perhaps Thanksgiving week. Instead, I'll tackle Means of Ascent, the second volume of Caro's biography of LBJ. That's not a bad consolation prize.
