Album Title: Bridge Over Troubled Water
Why I Bought It: This was another disk in the "Complete Simon & Garfunkel" set.
What I Like (Lyric): "Bridge Over Troubled Water". The single most beautiful song the duo ever put out. Art Garfunkel's voice is sadly underrated.
What I Like (Loud): "The Boxer". A song of quiet despair - with cannon!
What I Like (Moody): "The Only Living Boy in New York". A melancholy song for a rainy day.
What I Like (Fun): "Keep the Customer Satisfied". Outside of The Music Man, the best song I know about being a travelling salesman.
Overall: This is my favorite S&G album. I'm not sure what "Bye Bye Love" is doing here, and "Baby Driver" doesn't do much for me, but the rest - "Cecilia", "El Condor Pasa", "So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright", "Why Don't You Write Me", "Song for the Asking" - are all enjoyable, in one mood or another.
