I'm at work, even though I'm not quite over my cold yet.

I just pulled my first major gaffe of the semester, completely blowing the solution of a homework problem in DiffEq. Oy, did I screw that one up! I'll have to eat crow at the next class session Thursday.

Speaking of eating, I'm starving, but I can't go to lunch yet - these are my office hours.

On the other hand, my office looks a lot better than it did a week ago; I've begun work on my next paper; and in less than half an hour I'll be able to get some lunch.

Maybe it's not so bleah.

Naah.

Addendum: I just got my evaluations from last term; calculus and geometry were better than I expected, algebra rather worse. On the whole, I'm relieved; I was expecting considerably worse.

Oh, geez! I *hated* when that happened to me! Cold crow does NOT taste very good!

Glad the evaluations weighed in on the plus side. Hope your cold goes away soon. Kipper had a cold last week and called from Annapolis, just to get sympathy and complain that he had no Vick's Vaporub to make him feel better! Comfort lessons learned early certainly stick with one.
