There appears to be a law of conservation of connections. Now that I have functioning DSL at home, my office computer has fallen out of the university network. I can't check my mail, I can't look at my class lists, I can't even print.

I got to the office too late to complain to OIT today, but if it's still off tomorrow there shall be screaming.
