The university's e-mail system has been flaky all week; it's been "down for emergency maintenance" at least three times, most recently for the last six hours or so - and since it's a Friday afternoon, I'm not sanguine that it'll come up again any time soon.

DSL is looking more and more tempting, despite the cost.
