Gracie's kind of funny about the doggie doors. She has no trouble with going out, nor with coming in if I'm not in the house. If I am, though, she'll come through the outer door, climb the steps, and stand on the table, just outside the inner door, complaining until I come and lift the flap. Sometimes she barks; today she just sort of moaned.

The weather has turned again; it's been rainy most of today, and there's a chance of snow tomorrow. (It'll warm up again Monday, though.) I wasn't able to take the dogs out for a walk today. I just chanced a grocery run; it was sprinkling very lightly when I went out, and was getting ready to pour on the return trip. The grocery run was a necessity. Hayfever has been eating me alive for the last week or so, and I was down to my last two Benadryl. (Seriously, these are the worst allergy attacks I can remember having; I've been waking up with a sore throat some days, and a couple of times my sinuses have been absolutely raw in the morning. It fades once I get up and down some Benadryl. Liquids seem to help too.)

I've been remiss in non-doggish posts lately: the last Ramble was a month ago, and I haven't done a book review in quite a while. I'll try to correct that soon.

Allegies - should be disallowed! I hope you feel better. I worship at the altar of the Pink Pill during our blooming season. Yesterday, during the continuation of the Patio Project from Hell I wore a mask to avoid just such a result. Worked pretty well.
