I've uploaded some more pictures of Gracie and Buster.
I've been thinking about getting some toys for the dogs, but Buster seems pretty adept at finding Ben and Murphy's old toys. (Not that they're hidden, but they're out of the way.) He's found the octopus thingie, a formerly-stuffed puppy, and an old torn-up tennis ball. Still, I should probably get some new ones - especially some fresh balls and tug-of-war toys.
I'm not sure they understand the doggie doors completely, yet. They'll come in through them if I call them that way, but I haven't seen either of them go out that way unprompted. This is something they need to learn. (Gracie has piddled in the house a couple of times.)
I'm enjoying getting back in the habit of walking dogs. The last couple of days, while walking them, I've seen a largish hawk - probably a redtail, but the sky was overcast and I only saw it from below - and heard mockingbirds (of course), wood doves, and one or two woodpeckers (probably downies). The only frustrating thing is that none of my neighbors have been out while I've been walking them, so I haven't been able to show them off.
It feels good.
