Yesterday I went shopping for a blender. Having had three different people recommend the Magic Bullet, I was determined to get that brand. Target, however, did not have it, so I wound up having to pay a visit to Wal-Mart. (My choices are limited, OK?) (It did not occur to me until later to check out The Chef's Shoppe, which is where I bought my manual coffee grinder, and which is even closer than Target.)
En route, I stopped at Schnuck's to check for the presence of poblano chilies. There was a basket labeled "poblano peppers"; however, it was empty. I'm not sure whether to count that as a hopeful sign or the opposite.
While at Wal-Mart, I also picked up a DVD of Wall-E. I haven't been using my DVD player much lately; the last several discs I've put in, it's glitched on - stuttering, freezing, and/or skipping. This has happened with 1776, Angel S5, and The Peacekeeper Wars, so I suspect that the player itself is at fault. I think I'll need to get a new one, but that can wait.
Ah, well, back to lazing around.

Date: 2008-12-07 03:01 am (UTC)I looked it over, and you're right, there's no easy way to clean it from the outside. You’ll have to open the case. It is a bit more involved than I may have led you to believe, but fortunately, it's relatively easy to do.
Here are a couple of links about how to do it. One is a video (strange advertisement at the beginning, but good instruction) the other is text. Also, I enclosed a Yahoo search in case you want more info.
I hope these help - Peter
