My computer is trying to download something. I'm not sure what; it might be Service Pack 3.

When I mouse over the little light-bulb icon, I get a tag reading "Downloading updates: 33%". It's been 33% for at least a week. The machine has had plenty of time; I've been on line a lot this past week, and a lot of that has just been reading - leaving the channel clear for the download. Still, it seems stuck on 33%.

This is annoying. I don't know what it's downloading; I don't know how to stop it, if that becomes necessary; and it's interfering, a bit, with my own websurfing. (More than a bit, actually....)

Pay me no mind. I'm just grumbling.

Be forewarned about SP3. That's why my computer was in the shop for most of last week, and is still acting slightly glitchy.

The problem with computers is that they keep trying to break what doesn't need fixing. Grrr...
