Sen. McCain has suggested that he and Sen. Obama should cancel Friday's scheduled Presidential debate so that they can attend the Congressional debate over the financial crisis.

Over at Obsidian Wings, ThatLeftTurninABQ has made a wickedly cool suggestion.

Send Obama and McCain back to Washington for the Congressional debate. Hold the Presidential debate anyway, between their designated stand-ins: Biden and Palin.

Hee! Me, too. I may have to miss this Friday's debate (dratted Presbytery meeting), but no possible combination of wild horses, explosives, or rain/sleet/hail/tornado/hurricane, etc is going to keep me from seeing the Biden-Palin debate. He's gonna--verbally, that is--peel her like a grape. I cannot wait!

I assume, oh tell me, that you've both seen Tina Fey's brilliant, instant-Emmy SNL send-up of Caribou Barbie, yes? Still chuckling and snickering over that one....
