stoutfellowThe remnants of Ike seem to have reached this area. It's been bucketing down all morning, and blowing as well; one of the trees across the street has been broken in two. Mine seem undamaged so far.
Ben was out in the wet a little while ago, and came back in sopping. I tried towelling him off, but achieved little except to excite him. (What is it about dogs and getting wet, anyway? Ben just loves to play when he comes in from the rain, which is, of course, the worst time for him to be tearing around the house.)
It seems to be dying down a bit now. Hope so - I need to make a grocery run.
