Phase I Is Complete

I underestimated the number of unshelved books, and completely forgot about the books in the guest room. On the other hand, I haven't counted (and for now won't) the books in my office. (A lot of them aren't, technically, mine; but a lot are.) The total: 3514 volumes. (That's subject to debate, as there were a few items whose status as books is arguable, but it's a decent ballpark figure.)

Next up is Phase I-A, linking and ordering volumes which belong together, one way or another.

Are you using Readerware? I have been emailing copies of the database to my Gmail account so in case of disaster I'll have a record for insurance purposes. Now I just have to reprice all those books listed as $.01 so my total value is more accurate.

No, I'm just building an Access database. I prefer building in exactly the features I want instead of relying on someone else's list.

I do need to do something about recordkeeping for insurance purposes.
