Feeding Time?

A few months ago I mentioned that I'd shifted my dogs' feeding time to the evening, to get them to stop waking me up early. I set 8 PM as the regular time.

Perhaps predictably, feeding time has slowly migrated backward to about 7:15.

It is now 6:25. Murphy has been plaintively woofing at me for about twenty minutes. But I will be strong...

Later: Sigh. I caved and fed them at 7 PM. But that's as far as I'll go. I am Determined.

Heh. The Boyz must have SOME cat genes. Inca and Fidel are always sure that they've *never* been fed in their whole born days.

Must be the basset genes. Ours are the same way -- and it's especially galling when they decide to move the morning constitutional up that way. 6 Am -- okay. Before 6 -- HOLD IT!!!!

Exactly twice in his life did Coalboy (the original) wake me up in the middle of the night to Go Out. He was having an upset stomach night one. The second I think he was seeing if he could get away with it, having had no trouble all day.
