I completed some of our winterizing for Paradise II today; it's supposed to get much colder this week.

Around here in Houston, we've had a number of transitions similar to that. But then it warms up again.

Typically, the 'plunge to deep-freeze' has been happening Thursday or Friday, with the warming trend beginning Sunday or Monday. On weekends when cawingcrow and I are planning extended outdoor activities over the weekend.

So I have to ask--you're not planning to spend a big chunk of this weekend outside, are you?

Doubtful, doubtful - though if the ground's not too slushy/snowy I'll probably take the dogs out a time or two.

The last several days, it's been in the 70s. We did yesterday's walk in shorts. It's supposed to get much colder in the next couple of days.

Great weather systems think alike, a week apart? :)
