Okay, I'll bite. How do *you* think these are calculated? I don't appear to be in anyone's, so I don't think it is arranged by how much posting one does in another's. Toraks wasn't in mine, but I added her by default because, because it was JUST wrong!

(Heaves comical sigh) That's all right; I never wanted to be in with the in-crowd *anyway*! (g)

As far as I can tell, a clique is a group of lj users who have all friended each other. (At the site where this meme is hosted, there's a link to an explanation, but it isn't quite clear. The word "clique" has a technical meaning in graph theory, though, and this is what it would translate to in this context.)
