Here's an interesting article on one of the better shows on TV these days. I don't completely agree with the author's analysis, but he does give some idea of the show's quality.

I'd wanted to watch it, anyway, based on your representation about it being such a good show, but it was never on this summer when we could watch it. And the new shows being on Tuesday - ack - the night for L&O:SVU and now CI, too, unless we do end up getting JFSnyder's tivo, I think we'll have to rent it when it comes out on DVD.

This article was high praise, indeed. When Twin Peaks was new, it was one of the best shows on television (right up until David Lynch decided that if America wanted *weird*, he was going to give them REALLY weird (g)). And the class struggle idea is intriguing.

Season one is already out. The DVD is kind of bare-bones - not much in the way of extras - but it exists.

Oh, good to know. When I put the Bob Newhart Show DVDs into the mail, I'll add Veronica Mars to our "wish list."
