Time and Time Again

I'm still a little under the weather - not enough to keep me from work, but enough to dissuade me from going out in 7F temperatures. So I decided to place another delivery order with Shop'n'Save. I selected a number of necessities - and noticed that they wouldn't be able to deliver until after 4PM, at which time I have to be on campus.

I've sent out for pizza.

The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security announced breathlessly today that "three out of four individuals convicted of international terrorism and terrorism-related offenses were foreign-born".

Well, yes, *international* terrorism does tend to involve foreign-born individuals. *Domestic* terrorism, which is just as deadly (just ask the people of Oklahoma City), tends to involve the native-born. Either those making this announcement are naive, or they're trying to foster xenophobia. I know which explanation I'm inclined to believe.
