Mad Dogs and Englishmen

Yep, it's that kind of day. The heat index is up over 105F, and there's an advisory in place until this evening. I had to go onto campus to meet with my Master's student, but as soon as we were done I scurried back home. I'm not leaving the house again today, if I can possibly avoid it.

The visit to San Diego went well; I'll probably post a few words about it later, but for the moment I just want to get myself on the outside of some ice cream.
