Should I Just Buy Some Popcorn?

The problem with Erfworld is that I'm really not sure who I should be rooting for. I want to back Lord Hamster, but supporting him means supporting Stanley the Tool (and he richly deserves that epithet) and Wanda, who is simply a monster. (I feel some sympathy, too, for some of the lesser characters, like Jack, but they're pretty much pawns.) On the other side, I like Gillian, but she's flat crazy. Prince Tramennis actually appeals to me a little, too. But then there's Charles, and the whole crew from Transylvito, who - with the possible exception of Vinny - are basically a bunch of thugs.

Puppy Love

When I last visited the family, I promised E that I'd try to transfer some of her videotapes to DVD. I'm finally getting around to doing that. After getting the transfer going, I turned off the TV.

Just a bit ago, I wanted to see how far along things were. The DVD/VCR box is close to the floor, so I lay down in front of it to peer at the readout. Gracie came over and lay down beside me; I turned my head and said "Hello" to her. She then got up and stuck her nose in my armpit. Taking the hint, I lifted up a little; she then crawled under me and rolled over on her back.

Irresistible.
