Misguided Minstrel

Gracie is lying on the floor near me, and seems to be tearing at the carpet with her teeth. I have remonstrated with her about this.

My Inner Minstrel is now singing "Don't Eat the Carpet", to the tune of "Don't Fear the Reaper".

Cameos

Buster and Gracie racing from end to end of the house - Gracie snarling ferociously, Buster turning and giving a puppy-bow every time she falls behind.

Buster bouncing in front of me, picking up and tossing a pathetic scrap of fabric that was once part of the octopus-thingie.

Blowing a raspberry in Gracie's face, then calling her back to apologize.

Gracie standing to nip at my nose as I kneel in front of her.

Buster, trying to get a good bellyrub, only to be frustrated as Gracie horns in between us. Shoving her aside and holding her with one stroking hand, so that Buster can get his due.

Homecoming.

Walkies.

Bedtime.
