Quick Update
Dec. 23rd, 2009 08:49 amJust thought I'd make it clear that I'm not dead yet....
The family get-together was Saturday; it went pretty well, but I don't have anything much to say beyond that. Mostly I've been relaxing and reading (finished three of the five books I brought, and I'm about a third of the way through The War of the End of the World). The three of us - Dad, my brother, and I - went to IHOP yesterday, which was nice; they make pretty good sausage. What I'm regarding as my big Christmas present this year will be a trip to the San Diego Zoo. I haven't been there in many years, and this time I've got a camera. (I suppose, this summer, I should take time for a visit to the St. Louis Zoo. Twenty-plus years in the Metro East area, and I've never been to the zoo....)
