This looks like it's going to be a pretty dismal season, and I don't see much hope for improvement before '09 or even '10.

On Being Sick

There are good things about having a cold. As long as your pantry is well-stocked, you can spend most of your time in bed, reading or dozing.

A cold is not what I have, and staying in bed... faces frequent and unpleasant interruptions.
