Good: The Puzzler in Atlantic Monthly. A highlight of every month.

Bad: CGI mouths on animals. Sorry, folks, the tech just ain't there yet.

Good: Neal Stephenson. Always a delight.

Bad: Alberto Gonzales. No further comment.

Good: Unmanned probes. Mars, Saturn, Titan - all of it's good.

Bad: The end of the Hubble era. May a successor rise soon.
