Last night's canine comedy threatened to repeat itself tonight, with minor variations. I remembered, however, that I had a rather juicy ham in the refrigerator; I sprinkled some of the juice on Murphy's food, which induced him to eat about half of it. Ben then volunteered to eat the rest and, Murphy offering no objection, he did so. Ben's dinner is the uneaten one this time.
This gives me some ideas as to how to get Murphy to eat over the next few days. If nothing else, I can pick up some moist dog food, and see if he'll eat that readily.
The only problem with tonight's events is that the glucosamine I've been giving Murphy to help with his joint ills was towards the bottom of the bowl - i.e., in the portion that Ben ate. That can be dealt with, of course. I will continue to monitor the situation.
