Last Friday, Aggie had been possessed by the Other and was fighting a losing battle within her own mind. Her would-be rescuers, meanwhile, had fallen into an apparently exitless pit. Things Looked Bad.
Monday... the Foglios, fearing possible burnout, decided to interpose a four-page short story, set somewhat earlier, while the "carnival" was still footloose and fancy-free.
I was prepared to be annoyed.
Wednesday's strip mollified, and Friday's completely removed, my annoyance.
I mean, really. "BEE-(smak)-P!"?
