Of Dogs and Drips and Shopping Trips

The last couple of days, the weather has been rather unpleasant, varying from dreary and drizzly to thunderous. I have stayed inside as much as possible.
On a typical day, I give Ben and Murphy each several dog treats - Milk-Bones and the like. Tuesday evening we ran out of treats.
In the absence of (so to speak) official treats, I fall back on bread. The dogs find half a slice an acceptable substitute. Last night, we ran out of bread.
This morning, the natives were decidedly restless.
I have just returned from a foray to Shop'n'Save. We are once again supplied with Milk-Bones, and also bread.
The dogs are happy. I am wet.
