I switched from Explorer to Firefox quite a while back, and have generally been pleased by it. Tabbing is such a useful feature, and the program's error-handling routines were quite nice - much more pleasant to deal with than IE's.
I say "was". I, er, upgraded to Firefox 1.5 a few days ago, and, well, the error-handling is much less friendly. I'm getting a lot of unjustified 404's and "Forbidden" messages - unjustified because hitting "Refresh" almost always clears the problem. It's still nicer than IE, but its edge has diminished, at least in this respect.
