Is this just a minor embarrassment, or an instance of psychological projection? Did Dishonest Donald know even then that that was what he would do if he were in Obama’s position?

Given that he made similar tweets on at least two other occasions and also did a video interview on the subject, I suspect it's the latter. (It also contrasts oddly with his insistence that Obama was soft on Iran, in the nuclear deal and other respects.)
