Fireworks

Somewhere to the west of me, there is a large fireworks display in progress. I can't see it, but I can hear it.

So can my dogs. Murphy keeps woofing softly at he knows not what. Ben keeps trying to climb into my lap.

Y'know, the actual holiday is still two days away.
