2. The pantry is dangerously depleted: my jugs of milk and OJ are almost empty, I have exactly two slices of bread left, one slice of cheese, a little lunch meat, one frozen dinner, and no cone-shaped coffee filters. (I have a bunch of flat-bottomed filters, but they are unsatisfactory for my setup.) I need to make a major grocery run.
3. The forecast high today is 22F, with a steady north wind of about 10 MPH.
Ah, well, needs must. But I'm not going to like going outside.
