I was just browsing one of the blogs I regularly visit, and saw a link to an article on "the new slide rule". Of course, my metaphorical ears pricked up.

It took me several seconds to remember that I was looking at a baseball blog.

ROFL I sometimes wonder what happened to my dad's old slide rule (he also had a ruler that was triangular in cross-section with two different measuring units on each side). I used to play with it when I was a kid.
