Squirrel!

mmegaera has informed me that Brunswick stew originated as a recipe for squirrel meat. It may be that I was happier not knowing that; still, truth is truth.

Whatever its antecedents, the stew is delicious. The pie came out fairly well - perhaps a bit oversweet. The salad was, well, salad.

I am content.
